Zanzibar: My Experience Visiting the Island Archipelago

Zanzibar: My experience visiting the semiautonomous island archipelago which has been part of the united Tanzania since 1964.

This is Zanzibar, a semiautonomous island archipelago which has been part of the united Tanzania since 1964. Its main island and popular draw is Unguja where you’ll find charming villages, active beach communities, and its capital, Stone Town (Zanzibar City). Also, owing to its fertile lands and favorable climate, It is rich in the diversity of crops grown there.

The island has a complex history having witnessed centuries of foreign influence, the Portuguese, a longtime seat of the sultanate of Oman, a British protectorate, and so on. Finally, while majority muslim, it prides itself on its freedom of religion as other sects are present and free to worship accordingly.
